If possible, consider making your travel plans to arrive and depart Martha's Vineyard during the mid-week (Monday - Thursday). You'll miss heavy weekend bridge traffic -- as well as large crowds at ferry docks and airports.

Martha's Vineyard is located within 85 miles of two major airports: Boston, Massachusetts (Logan International Airport) and Providence, Rhode Island (T.F. Green International Airport).
